4. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only in these limited cases:
- Service providers: Payment processors (Stripe, Apple, Google), SMS carriers (Twilio), cloud hosting, and analytics providers, under written agreements that restrict use of the data.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to continued privacy protection.
- With your consent: For any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security reviews — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use a minimal set of cookies and local storage entries required for authentication and functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise these rights, contact outreach@lovecraftapps.com.
7.1 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information — which we do not engage in.
7.2 European Users (GDPR)
Our lawful bases for processing are contract performance (to provide the Services), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement), consent (SMS marketing, cookies), and legal obligation. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Mobile Apps & App Stores
Apps distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store are additionally subject to those platforms' privacy labels and policies. We provide the required disclosures in each app's store listing. Platform-level permissions (camera, microphone, location, contacts) are requested only when needed and are used only as disclosed at the point of request.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us with information can contact outreach@lovecraftapps.com.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
11. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States. If you use the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the U.S. and other countries where we or our service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards.
